I styled it with a pair of white palazzos. You can also wear it with a pair or black or beige palazzo. If you are not comfortable wearing crop tops then you can layer it up with a shrug or a blazer on top. You can wear this top to any casual hangout or for your next beach vacation.
A high-end chic crop top from Flipkart? Sure! I found this fuchsia pink crop top. This is from a brand called street 9. I got this one for the cutout design on the neck. I also love this colour. The fabric is satin and is double layered which is very soft on your skin. This has a very chic look to it. You can wear it with a pair of white or black trousers. You can try colour blocking with this top by wearing it with solid colour trousers or shorts. This top is loose on me but I did not want to return it so I will alter this to fit me. I am even planning to wear this crop top with sarees as well because these kinds of modern crop tops look really elegant with sarees. You can wear this to a party or tone it down by layering it up with a blazer or shrug for daytime events.
A yellow wrap top from a brand called Harpa. I love the colour, it’s so refreshing. I wanted to try a wrap top because it has a very flattering look on any body shape and is comfortable to wear. This top has ruffles on the sleeves and the tie-up belt is quite long so you can adjust it as per your requirements. The fabric is also very light so perfect for the summer. You can wear this with jeans or shorts. I also tried it with a pair of white palazzos and tucked in the top to give it a cropped look. You can use wrap tops to layer on top of crop tops as well.
When it comes to crop tops and dresses from Flipkart, it has a collection of both casual street-style items as well as high-end chic pieces. This light blue crop top is from a brand called Chimpanzee. It has a cutout in front and the fit is perfect. The material is stretchable so it will adjust as per your body shape. It has a zip closure on the side. The colour is subtle so you can wear it in the daytime with jeans or skirts. As the top is fitted, wear the bottom wear with a relaxed fit to balance out the silhouette. I styled it with a pair of black palazzos which has a nice flare to them. The sleeves are quite wide so you will be comfortable in it and you don’t have to accessorize it much as the top acts as a statement piece.
Looking for your next dinner date outfit? Check out this long lavender dress. It’s from this brand called Deklook. I love the subtle colour, the fit and flare design, and the neckline. It’s very flattering and fits in the right places. This dress has a diagonal slit in the front which is visible when you walk or move. The fabric is very light and won’t weigh you down when you wear it. The straps are adjustable so you can set it as per your measurements. The length of this dress was quite long on me so I had to get it altered and remove about 3 to 4 inches from the bottom. This dress is perfect for nighttime events like a party or a dinner plan. You can go lighter on the accessories to keep the dress as the highlight of your look.
Florals are so in this season! This floral print co-ord set does not fall under the category of crop tops and dresses from Flipkart but I still included it as this is the only co-ord set that I ever ordered from Flipkart to date. This is from the brand Berrylush. These sets are very versatile as you can wear these as separates and create a lot of different outfits, you can wear the top with jeans or trousers and wear the skirt with other crop tops or t-shirts. I love the colour and the print. Small prints look really nice on petite body shapes and also make you look tall. The top has frills on the neckline which adds some extra element to it and looks very feminine. The skirt is ankle length and has a side slit. These kinds of co-ord sets are perfect if you are going for a vacation where you need to pack light but also want to have different options for your outfit.
A dark shade solid dress is that one piece that makes you look stand out every time you wear it. This navy blue midi dress is from a brand called Zima Leto. It also has a side slit. The fit is not that great as it’s slightly loose on the top and tight on the bottom but overall it gives a nice elegant look. Solid dresses in dark colours elevate your overall look. The quality of the fabric is great as it’s thick and opaque. While shopping for dresses always opt for thick opaque fabrics otherwise they won’t look good. Also, the side slit of this dress is not that high so you would be comfortable in it if you are not used to wearing short dresses. You can pair it up with a pair of nude heels or a pair of transparent strap heels as I did here and wear it for any evening hangout or a dinner date and such.
Blazers are so popular right now and blazer dresses have that same structured look and are something that I absolutely love! This is from a brand called Sassafras. I love the colour, it’s very unique and a blazer dress made with such a unique colour was a big yes for me! The blazer design with the collar and buttons gives it a very structured look. I like wearing structured outfits a lot, it looks very chic and minimal. You can also wear it as a jacket or shrug by keeping the buttons open and using it as an outer layer. The quality of the fabric is really good. It has that thick blazer material but with a soft touch so that it hugs your body in the right places. As the colour is so subtle, you can wear it for both day and night which makes it a versatile piece.
Online shopping might seem confusing but it becomes a lifesaver when you get the hang of it. You have to keep a little bit of patience and search for the products and brands that suit you and your budget.
